Our leadership team’s experience spans international patents in autonomous vehicle steering, time at CERN and successfully managing over 200 product engineers. In our time, we’ve built tunnels under Las Vegas, controlled oil wells, lectured in Applied Science, and created award-winning marketing for global brands.
Chris is a serial founder and engineer who previously built Alpas (YCombinator W21), a software company that helps companies like BASF, ABB, and SBB source mechanical parts faster and cheaper. His background is in physics and data science (CERN), as well as in sales and software engineering for the educational AI and electric mobility spaces.

Moritz is a software and hardware expert who has won international patents with IoT in vehicles through his career at Continental and through building autonomous driving software for Volkswagen/Cariad, which is now found across millions of vehicles. His educational background in mechatronics and automotive engineering shapes the applications of Podero today.

He began his career as the founder of his own start-up in the hospitality sector and as a strategy consultant at Strategy& (PwC). Most recently, he served as Country Manager at Soly, a Dutch solar provider, where he was responsible for the company’s market entry in Austria. Prior to that, he headed the Austrian operations of the German digital bank N26. Now he plays a key part in shaping Podero’s commercial strategy

His Management & Technology degree from TUM lets him translate OEM needs into partnerships that connect utilities, device owners and manufacturers.

Supporting Podero since the very beginning, Christian has launched various flexibility projects in the industry, creating value for both utilities and end customers. His belief in broad adoption of renewable flexibility drives his work on scalable, user-focused solutions for the energy transition.
