E.ON Sweden, the Bosch Home Comfort Group, and Podero today announced a partnership to bring large-scale, intelligent optimization of Bosch Home Comfort, Buderus, and IVT heat pumps to Swedish households, seamlessly integrated with E.ON’s smart energy services.
This collaboration marks a major step toward smarter, more flexible energy systems across Europe.
E.ON is expanding its smart energy services to bring intelligent heating solutions to more households across Sweden. Through the integration with Podero and Bosch, E.ON now enables Swedish households to automatically optimize their heating in real time, reducing energy costs – without compromising on comfort.

The partnership leverages Bosch Home Comfort Group’s proven IoT platform for secure connectivity across its heating portfolio, providing reliable data exchange and control for thousands of devices. Podero’s flexibility platform orchestrates real-time asset management, ensuring energy delivery aligns precisely with household consumption. Podero’s trading integration then enables the energy management team to incorporate the smart heat pump fleet into their trading activities.

The collaboration launched at the start of the 2024/2025 heating season, with roll-out continuing across Sweden through the winter months. For customers, this results in a fully automated, optimized heating experience that maximizes value from every kilowatt-hour, without additional hardware or manual adjustments.
