It’s been a busy stretch since July, and while we’ve been heads-down making Podero more reliable, more connected, and more polished, we figured it was time to share what’s new. With fall kicking in, here’s the latest on what we’ve shipped.
Over the past few months, we’ve focused on the foundations – stability, data quality, and integrations – while also adding the details that make Podero easier to use every day. The result: a stronger platform, a broader device ecosystem, and a smoother experience for customers and partners.
So, what’s new?
Customer experience that feels easy
First impressions matter, so we’ve refined how customers engage with Podero:
-
- Custom onboarding: Organizations can now tailor onboarding text to fit their brand voice.
- Registration Improvements: Location info is now required upfront for location-aware steering. While it adds a step during sign-up, it ensures smoother operation later by reducing steering errors and setup adjustments down the line.
- Polished UI: From manufacturer logos to sharper translations and cleaner email templates, the details have been upgraded.
Reliability that builds confidence
Trust is earned when systems just work. That’s why this release puts stability front and center:
- Data quality improvements automatically flag and filter out out-of-range datapoints, helping maintain accurate monitoring and trustworthy results.
- Authentication tracking ensures expired refresh tokens can’t cause stale or broken sessions.
- Streamlined deployments with standardized health checks and automated CI/CD, meaning bring faster rollouts and a smoother platform experience.Customers should already notice it during deployment windows – a major step toward even smoother reliability.
A broader, smarter device ecosystem
Every home and business is different. We’ve made Podero more adaptable by extending and strengthening device coverage:
- Zappi EV chargers: More reliable steering with fallback logic, corrected scheduling, a new Boost Command, and smarter location handling.
- Heat pumps: Expanded support with Thermia stabilization, new Vaillant onboarding in Sweden, Daikin steering enhancements, and Viessmann monitoring improvements..
- Inverters: Customer-specific trading optimization is now supported via triggers, with safeguards to balance day-ahead and trading signals. Improved onboarding and token handling keep SolarEdge and other fleets running smoothly.
Why it matters
These updates make Podero more resilient and versatile: expanding device coverage across EVs, heat pumps, and inverters; strengthening reliability with proactive data quality and deployment processes; and making onboarding and everyday use simpler and more intuitive. Together, they ensure Podero keeps delivering dependable, scalable energy flexibility for our partners and customers.
