myPodero: A new version of the app is now live
Podero has released a major new version of myPodero, the consumer-facing app that utility partners deploy to their end customers. The update is available now on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and brings a redesigned experience, new notification capabilities, and improved savings visibility to the households utilities serve.
What’s new for end customers
The most notable addition is in-app notifications. Customers are now alerted when their connected device or optimization schedule needs attention, reducing support overhead for utilities and keeping end users engaged with their energy performance. Savings insights have also been overhauled, giving households a clearer view of what their devices are earning and saving on their behalf.
The interface has been redesigned from the ground up. From a single dashboard, customers can monitor the live status of their heat pumps, EVs, solar systems, and batteries, view historical performance, see upcoming optimization schedules, and adjust their own preferences, including the ability to pause optimization if they choose.
Designed for utility deployment
White-labelling is fully supported, so utilities can deploy myPodero as their own branded customer app without additional development work. A demo mode is available at my.podero.com, making it straightforward for utility teams to walk prospects and new customers through the experience before any devices are connected.
On the utility side, the Podero Console gives customer success and operations teams a complete view of their device fleet: tracking performance, savings, and device status at both fleet and individual device level. Together, the Console and myPodero cover both ends of the relationship: the utility’s operational view and the end customer’s experience.
What’s coming next
EV charging sessions are being added to the app in the coming weeks, alongside a “charge now” button for direct manual control. Italian language support is also in development, expanding on current availability in English, German, and Hungarian.
